HAIRART HAIR WRAPS CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Here are a few maintenance tips to keep your Hairart Hair Wrap looking fresh and fabulous for a long time:

  • Gently brush the hair wrap with a soft bristle brush before washing it
  • Fill a bowl with cool to lukewarm water and add a small amount of shampoo
  • Add the hair wrap to the bowl and let it soak for 4 – 5 minutes; gently swirling it in the water a couple times
  • Rinse hair wrap with clean cool water
  • Apply a small amount of conditioner to clean water and add hair wrap
  • Rinse thoroughly with clean cool water. Do not rub or wring-out hair wrap
  • We recommend that you blot and air dry with clean towel or blow dry on low speed for quicker drying
  • We recommend storing your clean and dried hair wrap in a zip lock plastic bag when not using and while traveling

Heatless Styling Tools That Actually Work
Heatless Styling Tools That Actually Work

Heatless Styling Tools That Actually Work is a guide to achieving curls and waves without heat damage. It argues that regular hot tools damage hair's keratin structure, causing breakage, dryness, and color fading — and that even a few heatless styling days per week can noticeably improve hair health.

The article covers five main heatless tools: overnight curl rods (best for loose-to-defined curls on medium/long hair), foam rollers (great for volume on shorter hair), silk/satin ribbon wraps (gentle on all hair types), flexi rods (ideal for natural and coily hair), and velcro rollers (best for volume and lift on fine hair).

A key emphasis is on proper prep — using leave-in conditioner, curl cream, mousse, and anti-frizz serum before wrapping — since product prep largely determines how well and how long the style holds. The guide also walks through a step-by-step overnight curling routine and offers tips like using a silk pillowcase, microfiber towel, and waiting until hair is fully dry before touching the curls.

The overall message is that heatless styling is a practical, long-term investment in hair health, not just a passing trend.
